Now, filmmaker Tim Sutton has released a trailer for his upcoming documentary about Till’s life and death, titled “Emmett Till: The Heart of a Hero.”

This year, the Emmett Till Story trailer was released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death. The trailer tells Till’s story through the eyes of his mother

It also features new interviews with contemporary figures who knew or interacted with Till, as well as footage of his funeral procession and burial in Chicago

Emmett Till was only 14 years old when he was brutally killed in 1955. His killers were acquitted by an all white jury and later went on to marry and have children
