The Plot of The Helpful Fox Senko- San Season 2
There is no confirmation of Season 2 as of yet. However, we can guess what the second season’s plot could be. Adding a new character may be in the books. It goes without saying that this should automatically change the workings of the older story, and there would have to be slight alterations for the addition to work.
Senko and Kuroto live happily together, presumably in an undefined relationship, but they are more than just caregiver and patient. Suzu, who many viewers have assumed is Senko and Kuroto’s daughter, has sparked some speculation, but she could also be another of Lady Sora’s kitsune disciples. In any case, her role remains unknown.
On the other hand, Lady Sora appears to be hiding some malicious, power-hungry intent beneath her faux kindness, as evidenced by how she treats Shiro for disobeying her.
She has already laid the groundwork for becoming the main antagonist, which would undoubtedly throw a wrench in the works. Shiro, too, enjoys her superiority over humans, implying that there is more to these fox demigods than just beauty and fluffy tails.
Backstories for each of the demigods would provide fascinating insight while adding depth to these established characters.
Another addition to the plotlines could come from the romantic involvement of the characters. Some interactions between the two protagonists suggest romantic interest. Kuroto invites Senko to “stick together” in the near future in the final scene.
If Lady Sora’s warning comes true, Senko will forever lose Kuroto, but perhaps this is the sadistic torment that a dictating demigod would desire. The series has yet to be renewed at the time of writing, so while nothing is certain, we can make predictions.
