Sylvester Stallone is celebrating his daughter Sophia Rose’s 26th birthday with family photos. This occasion prompted Stallone to share family photos of himself, Sophia, and Jennifer.
Whatever the mindset of the legendary actor is, it most certainly would have been difficult for him to share a picture in which he and his ex-wife are together. Posting these pics is made much more complicated because the divorce is ongoing.
Stallone, now 76, wrote the caption of the Instagram post. The post consisted of several photos of Sophia, Himself and Flavin. The caption said:
“A BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY VERY SPECIAL DAUGHTER, SOPHIA!!”
In one photo, Stallone and Sophia were posing next to a golf cart while enjoying father-daughter time.
A second photo in the post shows the trio dressed to the nines and striking a pose for the camera.
Another photo shows Stallone, Sophia, and Flavin taking a selfie while sitting in what appears to be a vehicle. The couple and daughter appeared to be in good spirits. How time changes!
On the other hand, Jennifer Flavin also celebrated her daughter’s birthday on Saturday by posting photos of Sophia and a throwback photo of the mother-daughter duo, but no images of Stallone were included.
Keep in mind that these celebratory posts came after Stallone’s now ex-wife filed for divorce last Friday. She filed a petition against the actor in Palm Beach County, Florida, seeking “dissolution of marriage and other relief.”
A Glimpse of The Love Story of Stallone and Flavin
Stallone and Flavin became a married couple in 1997 after meeting in a Beverly Hills restaurant and dating since 1988. The couple celebrated their 25th anniversary of marriage in May. Stallone praised Flavin as an “incredibly selfless, dedicated, patient woman.”
In a now-deleted post, Flavin stated, “Every year, our marriage gets better! I can’t wait for the rest of our lives to be spent together!”

Frank Stallone, Sylvester Stallone’s younger brother, expressed his support amid the divorce news saying:
