Jim Mickle created the fantasy drama television series, Sweet Tooth. It is based on Jeff Lemire’s comic book of the same name and will premiere on Netflix on June 4, 2021.
The premise of the series is post-apocalyptic societal norms. “The Great Crumble” happened 10 years ago and society collapsed due to a viral pandemic of a disease known as the Sick. The disease wiped out most of the world’s human population, leading to the mysterious emergence of hybrid babies that are born part human, part animal.
The series also follows Dr Aditya Singh as he tries to find a cure for the Sick. Gus is a half-deer hybrid who lives in the wilderness with his father. His father dies when Gus is only nine. Gus keeps insisting Jepperd to escort him to Colorado to help him find his mother.
Release Date
Sweet Tooth was renewed in July 2021, only one month after season one was released. Season 2 is expected to be released in six to eight months, as post-production has just begun. This conclusion is based on the fact that the first season was released six months after post-production. As a result, Sweet Tooth season 2 is expected to premiere in December 2022. Regardless, if the post-production process takes longer than expected, the new season will be available on Netflix in January or February 2023.
The majority of the time in the post-production process is spent on special effects. Expect the show to premiere in early 2023, if not later this year.

Plot
We have a general idea of what Sweet Tooth season 2 will cover. Even though the TV show does not exactly follow the comics, it is still quite dark. At the end of the first season, Gus is being held captive by The Last Men, but other Hybrids are plotting to free him. We now know that his mother is in Alaska, but we have no idea what she is doing there. The interconnected stories of Big Man, Pigtail, and Bear with Gus follow. Season 2 could be more daring in its deviations and follow a new narrative arc. Season 2 of the series may focus on the virus that caused such changes in the human race.

Sweet Tooth season 2 has no trailer, and we don’t know when we’ll get one. Netflix usually likes to keep the trailer release a month before the actual Season.
