Clair Finkenbinder has joined Summit Technology Group (STG) as Director of Technology Sales. Mr. Finkenbinder joins STG from Centric Bank, where he most recently served as EVP, Chief Information Officer and Director of Operations.

Clair Finkenbinder, Centric Bank’s Chief Information Officer and Director of Operations, has joined STG. When it comes to solving real-world business problems, Mr. Finkenbinder’s executive team at Centric recently demonstrated success in implementing Jack Henry Silverlake’s Core Conversion, nCino’s Commercial Loss Solution, and a 3-year modernization strategy for the company’s data centers. Centric Bank hired Mr. Finkenbinder after he spent 11 years leading a team of technology sales managers and professionals at Dell EMC Corporation’s Mid Market East Division. Dell’s Most Trusted Leaders named Mr. Finkenbinder four years in a row prior to his departure.
STG’s Technology Services sales and marketing teams will be under Mr. Finkenbinder’s management. While working to maintain and expand STG’s current client relationships, Clair and his team are also looking to expand into new markets.
An American military veteran, Mr. Finkenbinder served six years in the National Security Agency’s Cryptographic Telecommunications Operations Center. He was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the National Defense Medal, and the USAF Good Conduct Medal during his time in the Air Force. He was also a BMT Honor Graduate and an AFTT Honor Graduate. With a degree in Information Systems Management from Anne Arundel Community College and an Air Force Technical Training School Data Communications Specialist certification, Mr. Finkenbinder is well-versed in the latest technological advances.
