Bill Russell, the legendary centre for the Boston Celtics who amassed 11 titles during 13 dynamite NBA seasons, passed away on Sunday at the age of 88.
All of his sons received that affection from him, and three of them played college basketball (one of those played professionally and one writes about the NBA professionally).
Both on and off the field, Russell is a true legend.
One of the most influential athletes in American history will be Bill Russell.
