Meet the Eagles fan who went viral for her NSFW antics against Saints

Meet Mary Kate Mink, the Eagles fan who went viral at Lincoln Financial Field during Sunday’s 40-29 win against the Saints.

Philadelphia fans have branded Mink as the “Mare of Havertown” after she was caught swearing in the stands in the fourth quarter. Her parents live in the Delaware County suburb, she said on Philadelphia’s 94WIP radio show.

“I was with my two sons and my husband, and my son taps me and says, ‘Mom, you’re going viral on Barstool Sports Philly.’ I was like, ‘Why?’ People around our section, I guess their phones are blowing up,” Mink, an Eagles season ticket holder, said.

She said she usually has her phone turned off during games, and had no clue about what was going on around her. When her husband took his phone out of his pocket, he looked at her and said, “I have 85 text messages,” Mink remembered, laughing.

“Well, my mom is mad at me. She asked me, ‘Well, why did you have to curse?’ I said, ‘Mom, I didn’t know I was going to be on TV,’” she said.

While there is no clear audio of what Mink actually shouted, it’s not hard to make out what she was angrily yelling in defense of her beloved birds. “That’s f–king bulls–t,” she appears to say.

“My four kids are mortified right now,” Mink told Fox 29 Philadelphia in an interview after Sunday’s game.

One viral tweet that showed Mink’s big moment read, “She 100% teaches CCD.”

She confirmed to the outlet that the latter is false, but said her kids went to Catholic school.

The “passionate” Eagles fan has already received business proposals after becoming a fan hero.

Mink said Sterling Pig Brewery, in Media, Penn. “apparently” wants to collaborate with her to create a beer. She already owns a canned cocktail company, Trans Fusion, that Eagles kicker Jake Elliot is said to enjoy.

Now that she’s well known in Philadelphia fan circles, Mink said she wants to ring the Liberty Bell at a Sixers game.
