About
Lucifer is a Tom Kapinos-created American urban fantasy television series that premiered on January 25, 2016, and will conclude on September 10, 2021. It is based on Neil Gaiman’s, Sam Kieth’s, and Mike Dringenberg’s DC Comics character. The character of Lucifer first appeared in the comic book series The Sandman, and he later became the protagonist of a spin-off series. DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint published both series. DC Entertainment, Jerry Bruckheimer Television, and Warner Bros. Television produced the television series.
Release Date
The show was so popular that when Fox cancelled it after three seasons, Netflix renewed it for a fourth. Sadly, Lucifer’s life was cut short even with its new home. Season 6 of the Tom Ellis-led series has just concluded, bringing the story of the titular Devil to a close.
The answer is straightforward. The show has ended with the sixth season, so this is its final season.
According to the original Netflix script, Lucifer was to end after five seasons with a dramatic announcement about God. However, the streamer later reversed its decision and announced that the show would launch the sixth season. Lucifer was renewed for ten more episodes in June 2020, finally allowing the show to finally say goodbye to its characters.

Plot
Lucifer Season 7 has officially been cancelled. However, we can still speculate what the storyline of the non-existent season would have been.
The story revolves around Lucifer Morningstar, a handsome and mighty angel who was expelled from Heaven for his rebellion. As the Devil, Lucifer gets tired of being the Lord of Hell and punishing people for millennia. As he grows dissatisfied and bored with his life in Hell, he abdicates his throne in defiance of his father (God) and flees to Los Angeles, where he runs his nightclub, Lux.
He meets the intriguing Detective Chloe Decker when he becomes involved in a murder investigation. After aiding the LAPD in solving the case by using his power to manipulate humans into revealing their deepest desires, Lucifer accepts an invitation to work as a consultant to the department with Chloe. Throughout the series, they encounter a variety of supernatural beings while solving crimes together and developing their relationship.
Lucifer Season 7 would have been on the same theme as the previous seasons. The show focuses on Lucifer and Chloe’s relationship and the crimes they solve. It would also focus on the secondary characters in the show.
Unfortunately, this is all just wishful thinking, as we know Lucifer Season 7 isn’t coming.
