STM, a Turkish defence company, will exhibit its cutting-edge defence technologies at the DSA 2022 defence expo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to a press release from the firm, DSA 2022, which will be held from March 28–31, will feature Turkey’s first national frigate, the MILGEM Ada Class Corvette, as well as the Coast Guard Ship CG-3100, and tactical mini-UAV systems ALPAGU, KARGU, and TOGAN, according to a press release from the firm.
The company’s general manager, Murat Guleryuz, said, “We are excited to exhibit our naval projects and mini UAV systems, which we developed with our national engineering capabilities in Malaysia.”

Over 20 countries, from South America to Asia, are listed on STM’s website as locations where the company has collaborated, transferred technology, and developed new products.
A statement from STM said, “In order to meet specific needs and ensure more effective mission performance, STM produces indigenous and flexible engineering solutions for Turkish Navy surface and submarine platforms. The Turkish Navy is one of the world’s most active navies.
Turkey’s security forces use STM’s striker and observer UAV systems, developed with its own engineering and technology, for border security and cross-border operations, the company claims.
