Plot
Kings of Joburg delves into neighborhood wrongdoing in and around Johannesburg. The plot revolves around the Masire siblings, Joburg’s criminal rulers. Simon “Vader” Masire is the senior who rules over the hidden world with an iron fist.
He is a man who does not need to speak louder to be heard; when he speaks, everyone listens. Furthermore, Mogomotsi “Mo” Masire is the younger of the two. He was once a feared man on the crime scene but is now on the run.
Mo almost lost his life by taking a bullet for his brother. Nonetheless, they all let him rot in jail. Around the same time, Vader commits a heist, and he passes the security without any trouble during this burglary.
Angela, Vader’s wife, is expected to be introduced later in the show. The posse is clearly under pressure to bring Mo back. Vader motions to his henchmen to deal with Mo. In the meantime, Mo meets with Phumzi after being released from jail.
She helps him get a ride in her car and even gives him a price for the trip ahead. As the plot progresses, viewers realize Angela is Mo’s ex. Mo also has two children, a boy named Tlotlo and a girl named Neo.
Tlotlo is wholly integrated into the group exercises, which irritates Mo even more. He returns to Phumzi with his daughter and finds a place to live. The story of sibling rivalry continues, and we see more obscure sides of the Masire family.
