Isaac and Johnny have been close friends since 1980. They first met while Isaac was working at the Viper Room and Johnny was a part owner of the super famed Los Angeles club back then. Isaac revealed in an interview that Johnny financially helped him significantly, giving him around $100,000 over the course of many years.

Isaac testified in court in defense of Depp. He revealed that he never noticed any evidence of physical abuse from Johnny towards Amber. He had been the second witness who was called to the stand to testify during the 2022 trial on Johnny’s behalf. During his testimony under oath, Isaac welled up, got emotional on the stand, and said he believes Ms Heard should “take responsibility and move on.” He further explained how everyone around Johnny, including his family, has been “completely worn-out by all this stuff, and it’s not fair. It’s not right what she (Amber) did. … It’s insane.”
