Spotify is implementing a COVID content advisory tab for podcasts and other content that mentions the coronavirus.
Over the course of two months, Spotify had promised to include the feature, which is a small blue tab that directs to its COVID-19 information hub. “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which some artists and creators claim spread COVID-19 vaccine misinformation, has been removed from the platform.

Healthcare providers have also leveled allegations against Joe Rogan, the host, alleging that he has spread conspiracy theories about the drug Covid-19.
This episode’s hosting on Spotify has sparked a backlash from users. It paid at least $200 million for the streaming rights to “The Joe Rogan Experience,” a podcast hosted by Rogan himself.
Listeners have been promised a new feature by Spotify in the wake of the scandal: content advisories linking them to health resources. Later, Rogan lauded the company’s decision but stood by the controversial guests he’d brought in.
